We have a range of PA systems, party speakers, guitar cabs and other equipment available for hire using the same great professional grade equipment you'll find in our studios. We have systems that will be perfect for parties, wedding receptions, gatherings, work events and business meetings through to larger gig PA systems for bands. We have session times available 7 days a week from 2pm to 11pm weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends and Public Holidays. All bookings must be made in advance. Should you need earlier or later times please contact us.

We offer an hourly rate on our rooms, however to maximise availability, our shortest session is three hours. How can I book a session? Go to our Online Booking page and select the room, date and time you prefer. We can also hire on an exclusive basis should you wish to use the studios for a video, photo shoot or extended session. All payments are taken online.

There is plenty of on street parking close by on Endle Street and in the nearby ‘pay and display’ car park located on Crosshouse Road (SO14 5GZ), a 2 minute walk away. There is limited off street parking available which is first come first served. Please be aware that finding a parking space when St. Marys Stadium is in use may take longer than usual. We cannot guarantee availability or take any responsibility for your vehicles once they are parked.

We would advise that you do not park directly outside our premises when the Saints are playing at home. Should you wish to do so, please make sure that your car is not parked on any yellow lines, the wheels of your car are not parked on any part of the pedestrian pavement and you are parked sensibly. We do not take ANY responsibility for your car once it is parked. We would advise that you park in Crosshouse Road carpark as ticket attendants regularly patrol the area at this time. If you get hungry or thirsty while rehearsing don’t worry, we offer a range of hot and cold drinks and also snacks to buy from our Backstage area. Prices are shown in the rooms or ask one of our team for details.

We have four rooms available to hire with an hourly rate based on size and time of day. All rooms have the same level of professional equipment and start at £9 per hour. See our Online Booking page for more details.

Using our online booking system, you can hire sets of Cymbals, Snares, Bass and Guitar Amps and additional microphones and keyboards too (subject to availability). Just select 'Extras' when booking your session. We also offer PA, Party Speaker and other equipment hire. See our PA and Equipment Hire page for more details or contact us directly.

We have a range of guitar strings, drum sticks, batteries and other useful items to keep you going. Prices are shown in the rooms and available from the Backstage area. We prefer card payments if possible please.

We often have bands and performers using the Studios for media and promotional work. If required, we can also hire on an exclusive basis should you wish some privacy or confidentiality. Please contact us directly with your requirements and whether catering is required.

Rehearsal and PA hire bookings can be changed or cancelled up to 48 hours in advance. However, if we do not receive the minimum of 48 hours’ notice, a charge of 50% of the total hire cost including additional equipment will be incurred. Changes or cancellations within 24 hours of the rehearsal / hire, will result in the FULL payment being due. Bands that fail to attend a rehearsal session or do not collect their arranged PA equipment will be charged the full session cost including any additional equipment hire.

As part of our mission to 'Get the bands back together', we are offering to promote any band that uses Pure Rehearsal Studios on our Social Media channels. Although we can't guarantee that our postings will launch you as the next big thing, we'll happily mention your next gig, recording, release or that you're available for bookings. Just ask a member of staff for details. We do not charge for this service.

Of course! We regularly host people just starting out or haven't played in a long time as well as regularly gigging, professional bands. We will happily help you set up your guitar, bass, drums, etc and show you how to connect it all up to get the best out of it! We all had to learn at some time, so please ask for help if you need it. We can also have links with local music teachers covering a range of different instruments, eg guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals. There are many great music venues in Southampton and we regularly have touring bands stop in on the way to playing legendary locations including The O2 (Southampton Guildhall), The Brook, The Engine Rooms, Heart Breakers, The Joiners, The Loft, The Mayflower Theatre, Suburbia and The 1865. Also look out for a growing number of pubs hosting live music and open mic nights.
